Image lounge includes some really beautiful filters for creating fractal noise, including Fractal
Clouds, which handily replaces Adobe's "Clouds" filter by providing much more control over virtually
every aspect of could generation. Fractal Fire and Fractal Brimstone are a couple of the most
realistic fire simulations you'll find anywhere, while Fractal Tunnel generates a tunnel covered in
fractal noise that the camera can fly through.
The selection of distortion filters in Image Lounge can really spruce up your work. Add Grunge to
text, simulate a wavy Mirage distortion, add Turbulent Distortion to an image or its edges. Border
Patrol traces the outline of a moving image, which is well-used with Hall of Time for creating a
"Time Echo" effect. Similarly, Video Feedback recreates the pattern of video looping through itself.
In the realm of more realistic visual effects, Image Lounge provides a very handy Real
Shadows filter for accurately projecting a shadow's object onto a surface. TrueCamera
Blur mimics the actual defocusing of a camera lens, complete with blooming and
TrueCamera Rack Focus simulates a depth-of-field focus using a depth map.
Image Lounge even includes several filters that quickly complete common tasks, saving you
the trouble of creating excessive keyframes. The Typewriter filter automatically types in text
one letter at a time and can even type in random order, while the Text Roll filter generates rolling
credits from a text file. Image Lounge's Framer creates a parameratized rectangle in a couple of
clicks.

Effect Blender Apply a series of effects to a controlled region of a layer. Build up your text, color treatment, and other effects, then use the Effect Blender to apply the finished results to the region.
Fractal Brimstone Create realistic fire, smoke, fog, tornadoes, and distortion field animations to enhance your effects shot. Fractal Brimstone gives you total control of dozens of parameters to synthesize literally thousands of incredible effects.
Fractal Clouds Make puffy, cumulus, nimbus, or glassy stratosphere clouds. Also, create oceans, water falls, rivers, and other water surfaces, complete with ripples and reflections.

Hall of Time Drop your image into a time warp, with cascading images from your clip in a corridor of time. Animate the amount time echo, along with the cascading rotation, scale, and opacity for a super cool effect.
Mirage Simulate mirages, heat waves, jet washes, and other thermal-currents that may cause istortion patterns within your effect Apply as a central design theme in an animation or as a realistic touch to an element.
Real Shadows Add realistic shadows to your elements, complete with perspective falloff and gradiated blur, as if your shadow was being cast on a 3D surface. It can also be to drop shadows for your photo-realistic composites and text animations.
Text Scoll Create traditional scrolling titles just like those found at the end of TV programs or feature films. Just make a text file your credit list, and Text Scroll will give you full animation control over justification, margins, leading, font, scroll rate, faded edges at the top and bottom of the screen, and a host of drop shadow parameters.
Text Typewriter Animate tracking, leading, size, and width with multiple lines of text. Then create signature "type-on" effects as though your text was being typed on a computer monitor or old-fashioned CRT display. TrueCamera Rack Focus TrueCamera Rack Focus brings Z-buffer control to the TrueCamera algorithm, allowing for realistic depth of field simulation when combined with a Z-buffer or "depth map". Depth Maps created from a 3D application can indicate the distance from the camera to different points within an image. TrueCamera Blur can reference this depth map to progressively blur an image as it recedes in space away from the viewer. animating the virtual camera parameters within TrueCamera Rack Focus, the feel of a camera operator changing focus as a scene progresses can be created with startling realism.
Turbulent Distortion Quickly and easily distort images with turbulent noise. Create water distortion, heat waves, and many other effects over text or graphic images.
Turbulent Edges Create underwater type, ghosts, transitions, and jagged edges.
Ultra Displacer Simulate water, heated air, steam, and interference and distortion effects to make your images look like they are being seen through a distortion field. Use one of the Fractal particle effects to control the distortions to achieve startling image effects.
